Are my images uploaded?
No. They are read and processed by your browser and never sent to a server.
Which files can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. For animated GIFs only the first frame is used. Very large images (over about 16 megapixels) or files over 40 MB may fail, especially on phones.
What if my image is not square?
The centre square is used and the rest is cropped.
Which files are made?
favicon.ico (16, 32, 48 px), PNG icons at 16, 32, 48, 180, 192 and 512 px.
