Questions
Are my images uploaded?
No. They are read and processed by your browser and never sent to a server.
Which files can I use?
JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF. For animated GIFs only the first frame is used. Very large images (over about 16 megapixels) or files over 40 MB may fail, especially on phones.
Does it keep transparency?
PNG and WebP keep it. JPEG does not, so transparent areas become white.
Why does WebP fail on my device?
Some browsers cannot save WebP files. The tool will say so; choose PNG or JPEG instead.
